In 2013 alone, a total of 44 children who were 14 years and younger died in the United States from heat stroke by being left in cars during the summer time. These statistics are shocking and show that this is becoming a big problem in the United States.
Officer Peterson, a police officer from North Texas, made a YouTube video to demonstrate just how dangerous it could be inside a car after 30 minutes in 90-degree weather. Officer Peterson's video points out that this danger is real for adults, let alone children and animals.
Lets all be aware of the dangers, and take steps to keep our loved ones safe.
